In this session, Dr. Heather Kirkorian will lead a discussion about interactive media and learning during the first five years of life. Dr. Kirkorian will share findings from her own empirical research on the extent to which infants and young children learn from interactive media (e.g., digital games, eBooks). Session participants will be encouraged to ask questions, share their own experiences, identify critical needs for future research, and brainstorm ways to bridge research and practice.
